"Damn those dogs!" I turned away from my word processor which I was in the midst of setting up, stumbling over several unpacked boxes to get to the screen door and see what was agitating them. Moving as cautiously as I could considering the mess the movers and I had made on the floor, I went to see what they had gotten into. Foolishly I had tossed the dogs outside to get them out of the way.
